CIRFOOD - Area 5.0 - Immersive Innovation Space

Our challenge

For CIRFOOD, we developed a multidisciplinary project within the CIRFOOD DISTRICT, giving life to Area 5.0, a dedicated space designed to narrate the company’s evolution and innovations over time. Located on the upper floor of the CIRFOOD DISTRICT, the project combines physical scenography and digital interaction into a single, cohesive experience. We designed, produced, and installed a custom-made scenographic structure conceived to visually dialogue with the iconic Nuvola installation already present in the space. Rather than acting as a standalone element, the scenography integrates seamlessly with the existing architecture, enhancing and completing the environment. At the core of Area 5.0 is an 80-inch touchscreen monitor running a fully custom software platform entirely conceived, designed, and developed by us.

The platform features an immersive and intuitive interface that guides visitors through three main narrative areas: CIRFOOD, CIRFOOD DISTRICT, and Innovation Areas. Content is organized in navigable, story-like slides and includes text, images, animated infographics, and video, produced by us using materials provided by the client. To broaden engagement, we also integrated Food&Fun, CIRFOOD’s educational app, allowing younger visitors to interact with the installation during school visits. A secondary 24-inch control monitor, embedded in a custom-designed console, enables staff to manage presentations discreetly while maintaining full visibility of the main screen. Having developed the platform in-house, we continue to manage its monthly maintenance and content updates, ensuring Area 5.0 remains an up-to-date, flexible, and powerful storytelling tool for meetings, visits, and presentations.
