Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo (MIA) is one of the most globally relevant projects in the industry that this year, for the first time, enjoys the patronage of Eurimages. A real "content market" held from October 11 to 15 in Rome and which, in addition to the editorial divisions dedicated to doc&factual, drama and film, also created a space for the world of animation.
The program of activities aimed at supporting international co-productions and the circulation of works and talents was enriched with the B2B Exchange, supporting the Ukrainian audiovisual industry, and the partnership with COMICON, useful for identifying new content from the world of comics that can become audiovisual productions.
Producers, distributors, broadcasters, independent studios, majors, agencies and digital platforms such as Amazon, AppleTV+, Netflix, Paramount+ and Tubi represented the driving forces of the industry, brought together under the sign of discovering the many opportunities that Italy can offer from a production, financial and creative point of view.
In this framework of excellence that also involves our core business on multiple levels of value, we provided live streaming and encrypted transmission of the conferences in progress in five different halls, also simultaneously, and made them available on-demand on the MIA Digital platform.
A job that allowed international accreditors to access all sessions remotely as well. In an appointment that was created to illustrate the new scenarios related to the new digital paradigms, we were also able to offer our digital contribution to make invaluable knowledge usable, and we are proud of that.
